How we verify businesses

The Verified badge means a real person from FindMyBiz visited the business and checked three things. It's free, and it's the same process for every business.

What we check

• The shop is where it says it is. We visit the address on the storefront.
• Who owns and runs it. We meet the owner and match them to the account.
• A sample of their work. We look at real, recent jobs, not stock photos.

How it works

• The owner requests a visit in the FMB Business app.
• We call to fix a time, then visit and fill in a checklist with photos.
• A second team member reviews the visit before the badge goes live.

How long it lasts

The badge shows the month the business was checked and lasts 12 months. We remove it earlier if the business moves, changes owner, or we receive reports we can confirm.

What it doesn't mean

Verification confirms who you're dealing with. It doesn't guarantee a price or the quality of a particular job; read the reviews, and agree the details in the chat before work starts.
